Isn't it just beautiful?
I also gave him his first stocking ever in life with his name on it filled with goodies followed by a percolating coffee pot! I love giving more than anything and have always found it akward to receive. He gave me a jewelry box and inside the drawer I found a pretty blue box!
I absolutely love it!
I have never received anything from Tiffanys before and was blown away. However for anyone who may be thinking of getting a necklace for someone from here, you will more than likely have to get a bigger chain. The chain is too small and I have to wait for another before I can wear this.
I am not done yet! My grandpa will have been gone 13 years next month. I love him and miss him dearly. I never thought in a million years that I would ever get anything of his or from him again. My parents gave me my grandpas silver tea set that was given to him for his 30 years with Pacific Northwest Bell. On the backside of the tray it is engraved with his name.
So here it is! I am now looking for the best way to clean it, so if anyone has any ideas on how to clean silver please let me know!
This is not all folks! They also gave me a clock that he was given for his 33 years. I will follow up later with that picture. It brought tears to my eyes and I am so grateful to have these pieces that I will be able to pass on to my children. I love my parents and I am so thankful for them.
For the remainder of my visit we relaxed, watched movies and played with the dogs. I love going home. I crocheted of course and am trying to finish up my Lucy ripple. I got up for a couple minutes and came back to this
Ginny is such a good girl. I have never seen two dogs in love before until my parents rescued a mate for her so they could breed her.
